Libra Full Moon 2021

The last two weeks have been preparing us for the powerful initiation of this Full Moon in Libra!

For many this past few weeks may have been exceptionally challenging. Feeling pulled in different directions. Confusion clouding over foresight. Depression, Grief, Anxiety, Frustration and Anger reaching up from the depths where they have been lying silently suppressed. Now their voices are unleashed and we are witnessing their cry for recognition.

With the Moon & Earth at 8 degrees of Libra and the Sun, Venus & Chiron all directly opposite at 8 degrees of Aries. We are experiencing the dynamic of polarity in extreme. It is no wonder if you are feeling emotionally overwhelmed and exhausted. This is a time for profound transformation and healing.

Libra is the sign of balance, harmony, communication, relationship and union. 

This sign is ruled by the planet Venus the feminine is expressed through Libra’s love of romantic partnership, of harmony, grace, singing, poetry, clear communication. This sign invites learning and expansion through walking the path with others, through observing and witnessing consciousness through their eyes and hearts. A sign that puts the feelings and experiences of others first. It is generous and thoughtful to a fault.

Here in this sign the Moon and the Earth are sitting. Two of the Goddess planets in a sign that exalts the divine feminine. Here the Moon reveals the deep emotional patterns and conditioning we hold in relationship. She asks us what is out of alignment? How can we find greater harmony? How can we bring clarity to our relationships? How can we re-ignite our passion and romance?

However, all of this Feminine Sacred Earth Magic directly opposes what has been culminating in the sign of Aries.

Aries is on the opposite spectrum to Libra. He is the God of War. The sign that celebrates independence, courage, conflict and destruction. This sign does not bend in flexibility to meet the other, but fearlessly steps out into the unknown to forge new pathways for consciousness. It is unforgiving, unrestrained and wild.

With the Sun in Aries our inner flame is activated. Passion and power dominate. 

Venus in Aries has emboldened the cosmic creatrix within each of us as we feel the burning desire to express our raw, authentic nature. Yet this energy juxtaposes the soft sweetness of the Moon in Libra.

Chiron is the wounded healer and whenever the Sun comes conjunct Chiron the light of our soul blazes into our core wounds and old patterns, wounds and trauma resurfaces once again. Chiron over time teaches us to master our pain, vulnerability and insecurity - not through control, but through radical self acceptance and compassion.

Such cosmic play is at hand as old wounds in partnership arise to the surface. We explore the balance between selflessness and serving oneself. Between harmonious communication and burning away unhealthy attachments. Between the Goddess of Love and the God of War.

How can we create space for both ends of the spectrum? How can we find deep healing through this process?
